Schroeder name VIP Woman of the Year

IPMG's Director of Human Resources Deborah Schroeder has been designated a VIP Woman of the Year for 2010/2011 by the National Association of Professional Women's Board of Directors.

Although a personal accolade noting her accomplishments, Schroeder sees the designation in a broader sense. "This type of notoriety is a reflection of the quality of employees throughout the entire IPMG organization," said Schroeder. "Through IPMG's Training and Human Resources Departments, our employees are supported with opportunities to continually develop their skills. It's an honor to represent IPMG employees statewide who are seeking excellence both personally and professionally."

In addition to her role of supporting and developing more than 430 IPMG employees, Schroeder serves her community as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Allen County. CASAs are individuals who volunteer to serve as a voice in court for abused and neglected children.

Schroeder is also working on her master of science degree in organizational leadership and supervision, with a focus on human resource management, at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). She expects to complete the master's program in December 2010.

IPMG congratulates Deborah Schroeder on the notable achievement and wishes her continued success!
