ADA-Indiana and the Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities are hosting the State Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Hoosiers from around the state to come and join us for our state's ADA Celebration!
Indianapolis Artsgarden (connects to the Circle Centre Mall) Monday, July 26th 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Eastern
Celebration Highlight: One of the commemoratives ADA-Indiana will be giving away at the Celebration is the 20th Anniversary poster from the Great Lakes ADA Center (pictured at left). The poster features the artwork of Amber Ramirez, the winning entry in their ADA poster contest. Best of all, Amber Ramirez is from Indiana! Amber and her family hope to make it down to the celebration! We will have limited copies of the 20th Anniversary poster, so if you would like one, get one early!
Celebration Highlight: IPMG's "What's important to me! An exhibit of art by Hoosiers with developmental disabilities" art exhibit will provide a wonderful backdrop for our Celebration event. "What's important to me!" has been and will be touring Indiana throughout this year. The full collection is currently at the Indianapolis Marion County Library through August 3rd, then moves on to Merrillville for a month-long engagement.
What else? Music, booth exhibitors, dancing, celebration cake, 20th Anniversary commemoratives, and other fun stuff. Plan to be there on Monday, July 26th, for the Celebration!
