The State of Indiana’s initiative OASIS (Objective Assessment System for Individual Supports) impacts the more than 12,700 Hoosiers receiving an Autism, Developmental Disabilities, or Support Services Waiver.
The goal for OASIS is to create a uniform funding model to determine fair and equitable levels of state support, based on an objective assessment and driven by the principles of person-centered planning and measurable outcomes.
In collaboration with the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services, a department of Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration (who administers the Medicaid waiver program), IPMG has developed “The Basics of OASIS.”
This document provides Indiana waiver recipients and their families or guardians with the basics about this statewide initiative. IPMG encourages all waiver recipients—and those who support these individuals—to review this information.
