All Star Saturdays: A Sensory-friendly Film Event

Kerasotes Show Place Theaters, in collaboration with the Indiana Resource Center for Autism at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC), have teamed up to announce “All Star Saturday” sensory-friendly film event in Bloomington, IN, on January 30, 2010.

This sensory-friendly environment allows families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy family films in a safe and accepting environment.

Join the Indiana Resource Center for Autism for a sensory-friendly showing of "The Tooth Fairy."  Sensory-friendly film event details include:

  • Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010
  • Cost: $7.75 for children and adults
  • Doors open at 9:00 a.m./Movie time at 9:30 a.m.
  • All children/students must be accompanied by an adult
  • Location: Show Place - East 11, Bloomington, IN (click here for map)
  • Lights will be up and sounds will be down
  • Families can bring gluten-free, casein-free snacks
  • Snack bar will be open
  • No previews
