As the sole provider of person-centered case management services in Indiana, IPMG serves more than 12,700 Hoosiers receiving one of three Medicaid waivers: the Autism Waiver, the Developmental Disabilities Waiver, and the Support Services Waiver. Each waiver has specific requirements that must be met for eligibility as determined by Medicaid. Using experience and creative case management, IPMG maximizes our Consumers' waiver dollars by combining a person-centered approach with 21st Century technology.
Each waiver provides services specific to the needs of the individual. Below is a brief outline on the variety of services each waiver supplies to you.
Autism Waiver
The Autism (AU) Waiver provides services to eligible individuals with autism who are living with family or in another community setting. The goal of the waiver is to provide resources that will enable the waiver recipient to gain and maintain an optimum level of self-determination and community integration.
Developmental Disabilities Waiver
The Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver provides services to eligible individuals with developmental disabilities. The waiver is designed to assist individuals with remaining in their own home or in a community setting, and assist those individuals who transition from state-operated facilities or other institutions to community settings. The goal of the waiver is to promote support that will enable the waiver recipient to gain and maintain an optimum level of self-determination and community integration.
In-home residential support services are available through both the Autism and DD Waivers.
Support Services Waiver
The Support Services (SS) Waiver provides support to eligible individuals with developmental disabilities. These individuals may be residing with their families or in other settings with informal support.
Because the Support Services Waiver has limits that the DD or Autism Waivers do not have, no residential services are available under the SS Waiver. However, a minimal amount of respite care may be included with your SS Waiver.
